This trimmer absolutely handled the job even broken thru 1/2 inch branches and limbs!! Bond angle just needs to accomodate 12 guage addendum cord...Otherwise this babyish just wants to get the job done!!!Buy Black & Decker 20-Inch Hedge Trimmer HT2000
